Froggie mastered!

The latest album by Raymond Froggatt is called ‘Movin on’ and is on sale now.It was mastered at Scadge Studios by Trev who also works with the band for their live shows.

They’re due to open the Wembley International Country Music Festival later this month and will also be playing for Narvel Felts and George Hamilton IV. They’re the only British band playing at the event.

Drum session warm-up for Wembley

Stu Clements was recently brought in to play some sessions for singer/songwriter Helen Glazzard.
He’s a regular player for The Raymond Froggatt Band who are currently rehearsing to play for the return of the Wembley Country Music Festival. They are the opening act and will also be backing band for some of the acts. http://www.2country.net/the-return-of-the-wembley-festivals/

Frank Collins visits Scadge

Frank Collins - Arrival We recently remastered an album by 70s band Arrival for re-release in the UK. It has been suggested that Arrival were the inspiration for Abba’s debut album of the same name.

As part of the remastering we were visited by legend Frank Collins who was the driving force in the band. After Arrival Frank went on to work and or record with,Bob Dylan The Rolling Stones Roger Daltry  Bryan Ferry Ian Dury Trence Trent D’arby?  Average White Band Kokomo, Marianne Faithful,  Alvin Lee, Gloria Gaynor, Alison Moyet, Marc Bolan, B.B. King, The Blues Band Cado Bell’e. Frank is pictured (right) in the photo with music promoter Dave Coleman (left).

Dan Dozer

This is Dan Dozer, one of a series of “my first JCB” diggers.

These are being produced by Shropshire’s Golden Bear Products, who are also the main licensed manufacturer of the official Olympic mascots.

Dan Dozer contains several voice clips and sound effects recorded here at Scadge Studios.

This is one of several projects we’ve been working on with Golden Bear. More exciting ones will be announced soon…

Another glowing review for the album recorded by Trev from Scadge Studios, live at Coventry Cathedral.

The concert was recorded during a 2009 tour with Theo Travis and Robert Fripp. Trev is engineer and technician for Travis & Fripp and has toured extensively with them in numerous countries.

Scadge studio system

We use this for most of our studio recording, mixing and editing.

Location recording is done on a mobile 24-track system then loaded

into SONAR for post-production.
