Here’s a fine selection from Woody’s wood products. They’re due to be filmed rotating on the turntable behind for ‘pack shots’

a) by uploading your video to YouTube you grant them rights to use your video pretty much any way they like (forever, even if you delete it)

b) If you embed the video on your own website, and people click on it, they’ll be transferred from your website to YouTube – marketing disaster!

c) If your video is business related, it isn’t strictly allowed under YouTube terms and conditions, so could at some point get removed

d) It is possible for people to copy your video, and maybe edit it

Alice getting ready for the music video shoot

Singer/songwriter Alice Leaver came back to Scadge Studios today to record her latest compositions and shoot videos for them.

Here she is getting ready in the Jaguar (owned by cameraman Yanks) for the video to ‘Broken Hearts’.

We’re upgrading the small lighting rig with some sturdier cans. This rig can run from a single 13 Amp socket so is ideal for smaller venues.

It has a built-in chaser or can be DMX controlled.

I’ve set the area ready for Steve as he likes to hear his kit in the big room.

Dan will be in Room 1 (to the right) with his guitar rig so he can see Steve easily.

They’ll be opening for McFly next week so I’m going along to tech for them which should be fun.

Our small floolight rig is all ready for PJ’s big night out on Saturday. This rig is available for hire (£50 per day, 2 rigs + controller) and is part of our range of lighting.

It has the advantage of being able to run off a single 13 Amp socket so is ideal for smaller events.

New additions to our event stock include this 2m x 1m aluminium staging platform. Ideal when all you need is a podium not a full stage. It’s very strong with removable legs and the platform can also be dismantled if necessary into 4 sections.

We also have these really useful weatherproof (IP55) connector boxes which enable temporary use of up to 4-way 13 Amp plug connection using extension reels or trailing plug boards.
